The University has developed three Hazard Specific Annexes (HSAs) that provide hazard specific response and command/control protocols, as well as additional in-depth information and responsibilities for specific units and/or ESFs that can anticipate providing support during the specific hazard. Each HSA identifies one ESF as the primary for leading the response to the incident type in question and identifies anticipated roles and responsibilities for additional ESFs both throughout the incident response and within each of the Response Impact Phases.

The three HSAs are as follows:

  • HSA-1: Adverse Weather
  • HSA-2: Active Assailant
  • HSA-3: Cybersecurity Incident
